I'm back; at Pearson Airport in Toronto, Ontario, that is. It hasn't been a bad morning because I got an entire row of seats on the plane to myself. That means I got to actually lie down and sleep for 3 hours. Only 3 more plane rides to go and I'll be back at camp.
After Knit night at the Anna Templeton Centre I headed down to Hava Java Cafe and lo' and behold, it was open mic night. I got to listen to some reasonable poetry and some really good music. I think next time I'm home I'm going to read some of my poetry; it's actually pretty good.
below are pictures I've taken since I left Pearson Airport on Thursday. Enjoy.
Halifax International Airport in Nova Scotia. The last stop before home. Unfortunately, or fortunately I didn't get to go inside but yeah, there is a Tim Horton's and lo' a Starbucks.
w00...flying over the Atlantic Ocean towards Newfoundland. I like this picture and the next one because the clouds were thick and looked really cool.
I've always imagined what it would be like to run around in the clouds if they actually were as solid as they look.
This is a good example why Newfoundland is nicknamed "The Rock".
The plane flying towards St. John's. I couldn't see my apartment though :(
Yay! Home! I got off the plane; took a taxi home; had a quick shower and headed to the spa. Not to shabby.
Ugh...this was 04:50 this morning. Yup Timmy's and yup I drank a large coffee very quickly. Last night I asked my taxi driver if he could pick me up at 04:30 and y'know what? He actually showed up :)
A shot of the airport from my seat. I couldn't be arsed to actually get up and take a picture.
Toronto at 08:30. Some smog but most of that is frozen vapour because of how cold it is.
An outside shot of Pearson International Airport in Toronto, Ontario. meh.
Looking out towards the apron. I managed to find a nice quiet spot to just sit and wait for 4 hours.
I have a weird thing about taking pictures of patterns and groups...
There were birds sitting inside on the windows but they flew away before I could get the shot :(
D.I.Y
Just bored and decided to take shots of the architecture.
See? Niiiiiice and quiet.
Steel and curvy glass; two of my favourite things.
