semi-horizontal; that is how I spent the majority of my day. I make no apologies for my sloth-like behaviour as it led to a productive day of knitting and learning. My friend Reuben went home to Saskatchewan today but last night we went for one last pub crawl along George Street. Tomorrow I'm going out for breakfast with Rob and Perry so I spent all today just relaxing, knitting, dreaming and learning. I came up with a whole lot of fantastical ideas but I'm not quite ready to share them yet. In the meantime here's what I have been reading or listening to:
- The Story of Philosophy: From Kant to William James and the American Pragmatists by Will Durant. Read by Grover Gardener
- At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee (Author, Reader)
- sixoneseven - My favourite craft blog. Parikha knits, cooks, bakes and sews and is a really talented photographer. We have similar interests and style so I'm always enchanted by what she creates.
- black dog knits - sometimes the poetic overtures are a bit much but the author is a wonderful knitter with a great sense of style and colour.
- the daily purl - sexy grey knitting. Not exclusively but the blog author knits in my favourite colours; white, grey, taupe, black. Awesome.
- yarn harlot - Stephanie Pearl-McPhee is hilarious, talented and Canadian; in other words, a must read.
